The Committee on Guardianships, Conservatorships, and Other Protective Devices of the Real Property, Probate & Trust Law Section is studying the problems involved with the drafting and acceptance of the durable power of attorney. We have prepared a specimen durable power of attorney, which, with the commentary and materials accompanying it, should be useful as a "springboard" for the attorney who is requested to prepare a durable power of attorney.
